The Role
As the Head of Operational Innovation at Superhuman Studios Venture Studio, you will spearhead initiatives aimed at revolutionizing the operational framework for our diverse ventures. Your mission is to blend operational innovation with technological advancements, ensuring our venture creation process is both resilient and adaptive. Inspired by both the successes and challenges faced by industry pioneers, your role is crucial in driving strategic and iterative operational enhancements across our vertical companies.The role demands a leader who is not only versed in the operational facets of a fast-paced, innovative environment but also capable of thinking ahead, anticipating the needs of emerging ventures, and steering them towards long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
E-commerce Management: Lead the operation of multiple e-commerce storefronts to ensure operational fluidity and efficiency.
Payment Gateways Management: Supervise the integration and performance of various payment gateways across our e-commerce platforms, enhancing transactional efficiency.
Financial Oversight: Collaborate with external accountants, oversee internal financial management, and maintain financial protocols across our Singapore and US entities.
Operational Excellence Across Entities: Guarantee the smooth operation of both Singapore and US entities, focusing on enhancing day-to-day operational efficiency.
Strategic Operational Leadership: Develop and implement pioneering operational strategies that address the unique needs of our Venture Studio and its vertical companies, fostering a culture of operational excellence.
Vertical Company Synergy: Facilitate collaboration between the Venture Studio and its vertical companies to align operational strategies with the goals of each entity, working closely with cross-functional teams to introduce customized innovative processes.
Iterative Innovation in Venture Creation: Champion a measured approach to operational innovation, focusing on iterative enhancements and sustainable growth while avoiding the pitfalls of financial and technical debt.
Supply Chain and Procurement Innovation: Emphasize the importance of supply chain and procurement in operational innovation, devising resilient and bespoke supply chain solutions for each vertical company.
Cost Analysis and Supply Chain Strategy: Conduct comprehensive cost analyses and revamp supply chain planning to navigate the unique challenges posed by international logistics, considering the broader impacts on transportation, inventory, quality control, delivery timelines, and customer satisfaction.
