The Role
Superhuman Studios is on the hunt for a Mid-Senior Level AWS DevOps Engineer to enhance our engineering team. This role is pivotal, focusing on the management and improvement of our serverless backend environment, including AWS infrastructure, code-pipeline flow, web application support, and specific modules like our notification system. If you're passionate about developing and deploying robust backend architectures, improving infrastructure and tooling, and continuously learning and sharing best practices, you're the perfect fit for us.
Skills & Experience Required
AWS Expertise: 3-4+ years of engineering experience in a serverless environment with AWS, including a deep understanding of Serverless Framework.
DevOps and Cloud Experience: At least 2+ years of recent DevOps and Cloud system experience, with AWS or equivalent certification.
Security Implementation: Strong capabilities in implementing AWS/environment security, app security, and data protection.
AWS Services Proficiency: Solid knowledge of AWS Cognito, Amplify, Lambda, and API Gateways.
Project Management: Strong self-organization skills and proficiency in coordinating with the team and managing project workflows.
J2EE and Security: Some experience with J2EE technologies and a strong background in security, data protection, and access rights.
Agile Framework: A robust understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Programming: Comfort with Object Oriented programming techniques and RESTful API design.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
System Management: Take ownership of system operations focusing on security, automation, and testing.
AWS Leadership: Guide the team in AWS services updates, upgrades, and utilization to enhance our infrastructure.
Architecture Design: Play a key role in systems architecture, integrating 3rd party apps, and maintaining system/environment uptime.
DevOps Innovation: Bring your knowledge to the forefront of Spatial Web and Metaverse development, with ongoing training and education provided.
